LKBEN11517: Show all environment variables in powershell
Symptom
You need to list all your env variables via powershell
Cause
Needed from time to time. This is the set command in a cmd command line.
Solution
The environment variables are know as a drive in powershell. To list all the variables, you only need to use dir or ls.
ls env:
or you can use:
dir env:
Because ls and dir are an alias for Get-ChildItem, you can also use:
Get-ChildItem env:
or also list the content like:
Get-Content env:\*
For a singe variable (e.g. systemroot) you can use:
Get-Content env:\Systemroot
