LKBEN10982: QT error message by compiling a program in 64-bit mode
Symptom
You get an error when you want to compile a 32 bit program to 64 bit.
Cause
This can have a lot of causes. You can try the following one which saved me.
Solution
You have to tell the compiler everything has to be 64 bit. You can do this by telling the configure command to use the 64 bit libsuffix.
./configure --enable-libsuffix=64
Now try to compile the program again with make.
