LKB | Created: 02-04-2020 | Version: 0 | Language: EN | Rating: 0 | Outdated: False | Marked for deletion: False
Author: Wim Peeters - Keskon GmbH & Co. KG
Symptom
Mailbox cleanup wizard informs user about reached size limit, even if no size limit configured on mailbox on Exchange Server
Cause
Registry Key limits use of PST Files in Outlook 2003
Solution
By Design:
DWORD-Registry Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\PST\PstDisableGrow=1
prevents Outlook 2003 from creating new items in a *.pst file.
In order not to interfere with offline mode, make sure that the MaxFileSize registry entry is not set.
