LKBEN10595: Howto delete the hiberfil.sys file on your windows computer
Symptom
You need more drive space and this file consumes a lot of it
Cause
This is by design
Solution
This file is used for the windows sleep mode on notebooks. It has the size of the fysical memory of a computer. you should not just delete this hiberfil file, it is used by the system. To delete it properly you need to change the hibernation mode in the power options control panel. So you just de-select the 'Enable hibernate support' check box. Now the file fill be deleted by windows automatically.
