LKBEN11723: What to do when Compatibility Telemetry is using high CPU on windows.
Symptom
Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry is using a lot of CPU.
Cause
This is on be default and can be deactivated.
Solution
To deactivate, you need to open your task scheduler and deactivate the following tasks:
- Application Experience
- Autochk
- Customer Experience Improvement Program
It is reported that after a while, Windows will reactivate these tasks.
