LKBEN11695: How to install an MSI without advertising shortcuts.
Symptom
You do not want advertising shortcuts and would like the normal shortcuts.
Cause
This is by design.
Solution
Advertising shortcuts are different from normal shortcuts. You cannot start the program as administrator and the system will check the installation every time you click them.
To install an msi and make it create normal shortcuts you can use the folloging command:
msiexec /i yourmsi.msi DISABLEADVTSHORTCUTS=1
