LKBEN11623: How to create a screenshot on a Macintosh.


Symptom

You need a screen caption on your Mac to document something.

Cause

Very often used for documentation.

Solution

To take a sceenshot on your Mac, you can use key combinations. By default press and hold these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 3 to save a picture of the screen.

If these are changed, you can verify them via preferences.

An alternative is to open the screenshot.app and then push the buttons.
