LKBEN11575: The better way to rename a directory in git.
Symptom
You need to rename a directory in your versioning.
Cause
Renaming via explorer is not the proper way to do it, but it works!
Solution
The proper way to do this is to use the git mv command. This will make it easier and faster for git to push it back to the server.
Here is an example:
git mv 'Acrobat Reader' 'Acrobat Reader Alt'
This will rename the directory "Acrobat Reader" to "Acrobat Reader Alt".
