Symptom
Your system does not activate the office license via KMS.
Cause
KMS will sometimes not work. You need some manual intervention.
Solution
This is a direct try to activate Office 2010 via a KMS server in your network.
cd \Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14
cscript ospp.vbs /act
If this does not work, please check your DNS for the following entry:
_vlmcs._tcp.<yourdomain>
This can be done with the cli of nslookup.
nslookup
set type=srv
_vlmcs._tcp.<yourdomain>
