You do not get any errormessage, just an empty line

This is because on Windows Server 2012R2 you need to start the powershell with administrator rights

On Windows Server 2016 an above you get an errormessage when you execute Get-VM in powershell without administrator rights. On Windows Server 2012R2 you do not get any message, just an empty line.

You see some output for Get-VM just start powershell with administrator rights.
