LKBEN11099: HP Multifunctional Printer can only receive facsimiles (fax) but cannot send
Symptom
This happens, although everything else (phone line, network) seems to work properly
Cause
Select: "scan & fax" instead of "normal fax" when sending a facsimile
Solution
This seems to be a bug with several different HP multi-function printers. You can receive faxes but not send, while other devices may function properly.
Alas the setting "scan and fax" can only be selected manually when preparing to send. The setting cannot be configured as default.
Status per july 2009, probably HP will provide a solution for coming models...
