Symptom
When folder is made available offline, only files but no subfolders are synchronized
Cause
This behaviour is by default
Solution
If you want to change this windows behaviour, so that a complete hierarchy of folder, files and subfolders is synchronized to offline folders, change the following setting either in a Group- or a Local Policy:
Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Network / Offline Files
--> "Subfolders always available offline" (Enable | Disable)
WATCH OUT:
Enabling this Feature for a large number of users might lead to extensive network traffic and local resources could not suffice some client side caches (CSC) since folder hierarchies can contain unfathomly large amounts of data...
