Symptom
You would like a nice banner when sombebody makes a login on the server or client
Cause
nonek
Solution
You can install sysvbanner to create the banner in the first place.
To do this on a debian or Kubuntu or Ubuntu system you type in:
apt-get install sysvbanner
Now you can use the command banner to create a banner of some text, redirect it to a file and add the file to /etc/issue.net
This will be shown when you login from the network. To make it work with ssh (secure shell daemon) you need to add the line
...
Banner /etc/issue.net
