LKBEN10885: Windows 7 - A user profil is created only temporary and not saved

Symptom

Problems with your windows profiles.

Cause

Solution

This will happed, if you manuel delete a user account

To do:

  1. Open the registry (regedit.exe) 
  2. Navigate to "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\
  3. Search the affected profile (for example:S-1-5-21-2057539395-2660279759-2660884317-1355)
    => You can see it under the value: "ProfileImagePath"
  4. Delete the whole key
