LKBEN10818: How to disable the Recent documents folder in the Windows start menu.
You need to disable the Recent documents folder.
You want to remove the "Recent dokuments" folder in the Windows start menu.
If you din't want to have the "Recent documents" folder in the start menu you have to change a registry entry.
Search for the following entry "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer".
There has to be the key "NoRecentDocsMenu". Change the value to 1.
After a restart the change takes effect.
