LKB | Created: 02/04/2020 | Version: 0 | Language: EN | Rating: 0 | Outdated: False | Marked for deletion: False

Symptom
You need to copy a link in your mail (e-mail is outlook) from a normal text file
Cause
This can be usefull from time to time and you do not need any menu to make a link
Solution
You just put the text you need as a link between < and > and it will be considered as a link even when whitespaces are in the text.
e.g.
<file://c:\temp\mydocument.doc>
e.g.
<http://www.lubby.org>
e.g.
<\\unc-path\folder>
<\\unc-path\folder\folder2\document.txt>
You can even use special characters (e.g. chinese) in your link.
