Cause
Troubleshooting
Solution
To test the functionality of the ICA protocol you can open a telnet session on the port 1494. (the default ICA port)
telnet servername 1494
You should see the word ICA in the top left corner of the window:
ICA
after a few seconds it adds the word ICA again, so after a minute you should see something like
ICAICAICAICAICAICAICAICAICA
on your screen. This means that the server has ICA active and reacts on the protocol, you can be shure the firewall does not bother you.
