Symptom
You need to find domain information or try to determine replication problems
Cause
Replication problems or needed information
Solution
You start the Active Directory Replication Monitor tool (ReplMon.exe), than right-click Monitored Servers, and then add one or more servers by using the wizard. Now you right-click the servers, and then click Show Global Catalog Servers in Enterprise. You can also show the domain controllers in the domain, the replication topologies, the global catalog servers, the bridgehead servers and much more information.
A nice feature is the server properties tab. Here you can find all the FSMO Roles in one window. You can also generate a status report.
This tool is a must for an administrator.
