LKBEN11553: How to show the last exit code from a powershell script.
Symptom
You have a powershell script which returns an exit code and you need to find out what it is.
Cause
With a cmd we use the errorlevel like this: echo %ErrorLevel%
Solution
If a powershell script returns an exit code, most of the time exit 0 is used for success and 1 for an error, you can use the following to show the result in the powershell:
echo $LASTEXITCODE
You can also write it like this:
Write-Output $LASTEXITCODE
When the return code comes from a cmd, you use
echo %ERRORLEVEL%
