LKBEN10893: Howto disable driver signing enforcement in windows 64-bit

Symptom

You have a non signed driver and it needs to run on a 64-bit windows system. You cannot install it.

Cause

This is by design.

Solution

Microsoft has introduced driver signing in 64-bit windows to enhance the security of the operating system. This can be disabled by an administrator at boot time. This can be done by choosing the advanced boot option Disable Driver Signature Enforcement after pressing F8 at boot. It is not recommended to disable this feature!
