LKBEN10635: Installation Failure of Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 on a Domain Controller
Symptom
The Installation of CPS 4.5 is aborted after approx. 75% and rolled back
Cause
Installation of CPS 4.5 on a Domain Controller is not supported / anonymous users bug
Solution
Installation of Citrix Presentation Server (CPS) 4.5 on a Domain Controller is not supported and this is for a good reason. Anyhow, if you have no other choice, try to install CPS on a member server and run the "dcpromo" - wizard afterwards.
Upon Installation of CPS 4.5 there is a checkmark wether to add anonymous user accounts or not; however, whatever you check or uncheck at this point, the installation routine adds anonymous (local!) users anyhow...
