LWE10348 : Howto find out where your command line (cmd) started?


You would like to know from which directory your command line has been started




To find this out, you can use the following lines of code. The MyPath variable will contain the start directory even when it has been started from a different path.

rem Find the path where the batch is located (Wim - see help call)
set MyPath=%~dp0

cd %MyPath%

echo the starting path is:
echo You started your application here: %MyPath%
