LWE10335 : What does the SQL prefix N mean before strings

Symptom:

You have an SQL script with lots of N prefixes

Cause:

none

Solution:

The "N" prefix stands for National Language in the SQL-92 standard, and must be uppercase. All unicode strings must be prefixed with this charachter N when you have to deal with unicode string constants in Microsoft SQL Server. (Transact SQL or TSQL)

e.g.
select N'Hello, I am a unicode string.';

Hello, I am a unicode string.
