LLE10263 : Howto add static routes on your ubuntu or debian system
You need to define a static route for network connectivity
This is by design
To add a route you can just use the route add command. After rebooting the server this route will be gone. To add it permanently you can do the following:
create a file static-routes under /etc/network/if-up.d
The contents of the file should look like this:
/sbin/route add -net 172.23.41.0 netmaks 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.129.194
/sbin/route add -net 172.23.42.0 netmaks 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.129.194
Make shure the file can be executed as a script.
