You wnat o know what a SSID is.
Solution
SSID (Service Set Identifier) is a name that identifies a particular 802.11 wireless LAN.
The SSID can be up to 32 characters long. Normally all access points in a network broadcast their SSID to all client devices in their range.
The access point of a wireless network is configured with a SSID and only clients who know the correct SSID gain access to the network.
