LKBEN10859: You have a problem on terminal server with or without citrix because your applications are killed by the operating system

Symptom

You encounter several problems with applications when your terminal server is getting a higher load

Cause

none

Solution

You windows operating system has several limits. Sometimes these limits are reached when you have a lot of sessions or programs started on the system. One of the limits you can reach is the SessionViewSize and the SessionPoolSize. These values are not contained in the registry for windows 2003. In this case, windows uses default values. To increment the memory for SessionVieSize and SessionPoolSize you can add the following values to the registry.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
"SessionViewSize"=dword:00000030
"SessionPoolSize"=dword:00000020

Please note that this does not solve problem with bad software, it can solve problems of SessionViewSize and SessionPoolSize limits in memory.
