LKBEN10764: Mouse is stuck inside VMWare Console - Key combination to switch back to host system
Symptom
You work inside a VMWare Virtual Machine via Console Window and want to get back to your host system
Cause
by design
Solution
Once you work inside a console window of a VMware Virtual Machine, your Mouse sticks to that console window.
Press CTL + ALT and you get your host control back without blocking your VM-Window.
This key combination is shown in the VMware Infrastructure Client in the status bar (either to the lower right on the infrastructure client, to the lower left on a pop up console window).
