Symptom

You want to install the Adobe Flash plugin for your browser in Ubuntu.

Cause

You want to install the Adobe Flash plugin for your browser in Ubuntu.

Solution

To install the Flashplayer for your browser you have to install the following packet with the synaptic packetmanager.

For Ubuntu 9.04 just start synaptic and install the packet "flashplugin-installer"

For Ubuntu 8.10 just start synaptic and install the packet "flashplugin-nonfree".
