LKBEN10985: How do I now shich shell is my default shell and active after logon

Symptom

You need to know which shell you have per default

Cause

none

Solution

One way to find out which shell is active is to look at /etc/passwd.

To know which shell is active for the user "lubby" you can run the command:

less /etc/passwd | grep -i "lubby"

Now you can look at the default shell for this user.

You will find entries like:

/bin/false

/bin/sh

/bin/bash

...
